Free Networking Meetings

ENRV group networking meetings are not being held at this time. However, job listings and information continue to be forwarded to the mailing list.

If at some point there is enough interest in having the meetings, they will be restarted.

I am interested in attending Job Networking Sessions.

May 13th, 2009
Kevin Shulman , president of Shulman & Associates, a sales training organization (www.WeExpectSuccess.com ), provided tips for effective networking. Mr. Shulman frequently speaks at corporate events around the country on sales, negotiating, networking, prospecting, recruiting and management strategies, at venues as diverse as Las Vegas and Madison Square Garden.


  • Naomi Auman, a human resource professional at a major international IT consulting firm. Naomi discussed job placement from the employers' perspective, including what the employer is looking for in resumes, cover letters, interviews, etc.

  • Joel Paul, President of Joel H. Paul and Associates, a nationally recognized executive search firm, conducted a dialog about searching for the next step in your career.

  • Bob Lansey, ENRV moderator, spoke about why the month of December is the best time of year to look for a job.

  • Joan Hochbaum of the JFVS and a former corporate HR executive spoke about interview skills and gave some mock interviews.

  • Oksana Dersovitz, a Career Coach with SAF Xperts, LLC (www.safxperts.com) conducted an interactive workshop on entrepreneurship.

  • Lloyd Feinstein spoke on "Thinking Like The Customer: Career Advancement as a Marketing Project." He writes for the Wall Street Journal and has published a book entitled Career Changing: The Worry-Free Guide.

  • Elise Prezant, Program Coordinator, Jewish Family Service in Somerville spoke about organizing your job search.

  • Mike Smith, a Sr. Human Resources Consultant at Educational Testing Service, conducted mock screening interviews with instant feedback.

  • Susan Levinson, USA Co-Founder Results Coaching Systems.

  • Ken Salzinger spoke on "The Job Search".

  • Amy Kaelin, M.S.W., Project Phoenix Outreach Worker at the Jewish Family and Vocational Service spoke about coping with the stresses of being unemployed.

  • Scott Woody, Director of Recruitment Sourcing at Johnson & Johnson presented his perspective on the job search process.

  • Jeffrey Weiner, National Human Resources Director at Archer Management Services, spoke about recruiting practices at small and large companies.
